The majority of Diagnostic Medical Devices such as Lateral Flow Tests use moisture-sensitive chemical reagents; which need protecting from the atmosphere, to ensure accurate results and also their shelf-life stability.
NicePak offers a range of packaging solutions to ensure that your products are protected from atmospheric humidity (e.g. silica gel and molecular sieve desiccants, plus laminated barrier foil pouches, plus high-speed desiccant-packing-machines).
Custom printed heat seal foil medical pouches and foil zipper bags for medical packaging and diagnostic tests. Foil pouches that provide vapor barrier and oxygen barrier requirements. Foil bags for packaging medical products like: diagnostic test kits, IVD test kits, wound dressings, sutures and disposable medical devices requiring vapor barrier protection.

Depending on vapor barrier requirements, heat seal foil pouches are constructed of materials with three to four layer laminations. They have low MVTR, or moisture vapor transmission rate.
