ECG Measurements Using External Pads
1. If not connected, connect the propeller cable to the device.
2. Apply conductive gel to the paddle electrodes.
3. Grasp the handle and pull up to remove the paddle pack from the paddle tray.
4. Apply the external paddles to the patient by anterior placement.
Place the sternal plate on the patient's upper right torso, lateral to the sternum and below the clavicle.
Place the electrode plate on the left nipple of the patient with the midaxillary line, and the center of the electrode is on the midaxillary line.
2. Apply conductive gel to the paddle electrodes.
3. Grasp the handle and pull up to remove the paddle pack from the paddle tray.
4. Apply the external paddles to the patient by anterior placement.
Place the sternal plate on the patient's upper right torso, lateral to the sternum and below the clavicle.
Place the electrode plate on the left nipple of the patient with the midaxillary line, and the center of the electrode is on the midaxillary line.
